The TPF Method
The TPF Method, Thumb – Bass, Pointer – Snare, Fingers – Cymbal, allows for the playing of full drum set parts using four pads and one hand (fingers connected). This unique playing system is the key to mastering the new drumitar instrument. Pointer –OO – Fingers The music is notated on a traditional staff with the fingers – cymbal line above the staff, the pointer - snare on the center line, the thumb – bass below the staff and the fills on the third space up. The Fill-Pad is played with the Pointer and Fingers. Differentiating tom-tom sounds when playing on the fill pad is accomplished using controls with the left hand on the guitar neck. |
