“One Hand Drumming” is a 21 page book that takes you step by step through the art of playing drum set using the TPF Method. It starts very simply using quarter notes and eighth notes with two part independence. First the fingers-cymbal and thumb-bass parts, then the finger-cymbal and pointer-snare parts, then the pointer-snare and thumb-bass parts are mastered.

Next three part independence is developed through a series of graduated exercises. In the next section the playing of fills is addressed.

Finally all elements are incorporated in common drum set funk beats and fills, including complicated sixteenth note patterns.

A knowledge of counting quarter, eighth and sixteenth notes is assumed.

This text is also an excellent way to learn to play the traditional drum set.
